Organic architecture reflects harmony between human habitat and the natural landscape. You will discover how marvellous this connection is after browsing the gallery of the project realised by Gilbartolome Architects in Granada, Spain. Embedded deep into the cliff overlooking the Mediterranean, the residence integrates with the landscape and features original interiors inspired by the sea. It’s not a secret that nature dominated the working team; you notice this strong relation from the beginning. What’s even more spectacular is the fact that the sea and the cliff influenced the interior design as well, transforming the house into a masterpiece of the contemporary organic architecture. Items of furniture with curved lines, balconies that overlook the sea, roof tiles similar to fish scales and all-white rooms in accordance to the purity of the nature support this statement.
We spotted the project on designboom.com.
Resembling a Gaudi’s work, the structure has an eccentric roof made of zinc tiles with metallic shimmer.
