Wide spaces and abundant natural light are common in a contemporary house. This is also the case with the residence below, a project realised by I Love Colours studio from Romania. As you can easily notice, the interiors were designed according to the principles of minimalism, meaning lines and planes were meticulously organised. The concept was to strip everything down to its essential quality and achieve simplicity. A minimalist home is calming, claim the architects that fulfilled the project. Moreover, the visual stress experienced in cluttered spaces is eliminated in the minimalist contemporary house. Not to mention the time spent on cleaning lots of objects, or vacuuming around a bunch of furniture. In a nutshell, a minimalist contemporary house is functional and appealing.
The idea is not completely without ornamentation, but that all parts, details and joinery are considered as reduced to a stage where no one can remove anything further to improve the design.
The white colour of the walls reveals the simplicity and unity of the contemporary house.
