Designrulz has never been to Paradise, but we are sure that it must have something in common with the garden below, a splendid project realised by Paradise Restored along the Tualatin River in Oregon, USA. As the pictures illustrate, natural beauty was a fruitful source of inspiration for the working team who succeeded in creating a marvellous relaxing area for the owners. All the members of the family love Koi, a fish variety of domesticated carp that are kept for decorative purposes in outdoor ponds or water gardens. Thus, koi ponds became a leitmotif of the garden. As for the planning, this landscape design includes an integrated outdoor living room with kitchen, tigerwood patios, a fire place and a fire pit, lots of plantings, as wells as pathway lighting.
Tigerwood is common name for lumber produced from several species of tropical trees.
