A modern architecture approach, good proportions, spacious rooms and elements of surprise define the Villa Lugano, a project recently presented by Angelo Pozzoli. Located in Switzerland, Villa Lugano is integrated in a hillside landscape, overlooking the lake and the magnificent landscape beyond. Villa Lugano is a spectacular private home completed in 2012. Contemporary and uplifting, the house is filled with cosmopolite décor details such as avant-garde and pop art paintings, a creative fireplace, stainless steel and glass. Rectangular volumes combine to create a massive home design, one that adds a highly contemporary feel to this city area.
The house spreads on three different floors, so it is quite spacious. The three-level home in reinforced concrete features an array of open spaces, optimizing the connection with the outdoors. Terraces, balconies, and footbridges keep the interiors permanently connected to the magic of Lake Lugano. Floor-to-ceiling glass panels substitute regular walls allowing residents to enjoy the lush and uninterrupted vegetation. The designers employed a blend of intriguing textures for the interior scheme, while keeping the focus beyond the glass walls of the house. Linking all three levels, the spiral staircase in the center of the residence makes a powerful visual statement.
