This Moscow apartment was completed by Aleksandra Fedorova Bureau. When the clients approached architect Aleksandra Fedorova with this project, they made it clear that weren’t afraid to experiment. They wanted their home to be modern, bright, cozy and unusual. Inspiring decorative elements are placed in key areas, enhancing the visual appeal of otherwise dull corners. We will let you discover more, by going through the gallery below. The architect is known for her passionate way of creating timeless designs with flexible adaptable characters so that the small accessories don’t influence the style. Natural materials are used throughout the living area in order to generate an inviting atmosphere. During the renovation, the architect tried to uncover as much of the space as possible. The walls are decorated with wooden panels and suede, while the floors have natural stone and oak finishes. Unlike most modern schemes, this is one place where dynamics is present in a tasteful manner. The subtle white, light brown and beige tones are contrasted by the yellow upholstery of the chairs in the dining area and by the vivid green pots in the bedroom. The only inconvenience in this Moscow apartment was the kitchen which had a load-bearing wall which couldn’t be removed. So it remained a separate room instead of being integrated into the social area.
