Immerse yourself in style and nature! This incredibly beautiful place redefines peace, comfort and eco-living. A very simple idea was the engine for the Bambu Indah Resort, the owners (John and Cynthia Hardy) wanted to create a special place to host their family and friends. In 2005, the owners brought eleven antique Javanese bridal homes to Bali and began decorating them with the intention of hosting their our family and closest friends who had traveled around the world to visit them. They wanted them to be surrounded by the rich creativity and the history of Indonesia, while being comforted by the luxury and service of a boutique hotel. They named this collection of antique, teak homes Bambu Indah Resort, which translates to “beautiful bamboo.” While their story began with our friends and family in mind, today, we are delighted to open Bambu Indah to all of you and share it with our guests from around the world. Today travelers all over the world are more than welcomed here.
