Designed as a home away from home, the cabins and all of the rooms at the 25hours Hotel Hamburg HafenCity are warm and cozy. Features and materials inspired by the harbour and shipbuilding are interpreted with tongue-in-cheek humour and held together with sailors’ yarns: 25 seafarers from around the world tell real-life stories of dangerous voyages, romantic encounters, violent storms and painful farewells. Anecdotal accessories and objects refer to these adventures, which are told in full in each cabin’s logbook.
The 25hours Hotel Hamburg HafenCity has 170 cabins with maritime decor and features like pilot’s ladders. The five different cabin types tell tales of homesickness and wanderlust – read the logbooks for the full story. All hotel guests have access to Wi-Fi and MINI/bicycle rental free of charge. According to the manager: “Seven hotels in our five favourite cities are looking forward to meeting active spirits with tired bodies. 25hours hotels are not merely ‘off the shelf’; they are tailored to each location. Sometimes cool, sometimes colourful, sometimes nostalgic, sometimes mundane – 25hours hotels offer not only bed and breakfast but plenty of entertainment, surprises and fun, too.”
