The Maldives – the most beautiful beach destination on earth. Huvafen Fushi is a luxurious resort located in the North Malé Atoll in the Maldives. It features overwater and beach bungalows with private pools, free Wi-Fi and 6 dining outlets. Each spacious bungalow comes with a sundeck, large flat-screen satellite TV, Bose sound system and DVD player. Attached bathrooms include a rain shower and separate bathtub.
Body treatments are offered in underwater treatment rooms at the Lime Spa. Guests can swim in the resort’s infinity pool and practice yoga at their yoga pavilion. Night fishing is also available. Salt is a restaurant over the water and features an open kitchen and fresh seafood dishes. A wide selection of wines is offered at Vinum. Every room has a private plunge pool. Deluxe Beach Bungalows back right onto white sands, and are justly popular for their spacious private outdoor areas (numbers 9, 10, 12–15 are close to the spa, if you need to do as little as possible, post-pampering). Actually the closer to the spa end of the island you are, the quieter it is. But we loved the novelty of being over water: set on a long ovate pier off the island, the Ocean and Lagoon Bungalows furthest from the island offer maximum privacy. Ocean Bungalows have a glass floor in the living area, giving you 24-hour ‘reef TV’, and because you’re on the sunset side, drinks on the terrace next to your plunge pool are extra-romantic.
