A contemporary apartment is like an arena of fantasy and relief. Designed by Jan Wadim, with an architectural plan by Plasterlina, the flat below features luminous spaces, simple furnishings and several quirky details that outline its personality. Like the photo invasion on the wall in the living room or the chalkboard behind the sofa that makes every moment an original, new experience. The decor used lots of white from the metal bar stools in the kitchen to the bleached flooring all over the house, letting the natural light flood the apartment through its large windows. Just have a look and write us if you enjoyed the project!
The bedroom brings more colour into play with a fantastic teal, a white polka dot wallpaper and a hot orange blanket. The geometric animal drawings over the bed are on the trend right now.
Kitchen and living room share one open plan where pendant white lamps create various focal points. Wood provides a warm, comfortable contrast, bringing a fragment of nature inside.
A chalkboard wall behind the sofa provides a splash of creativeness because it allows the inhabitants to write to-do lists, inspiring messages or to draw funny things every day. Several spots of tangerine and mustard enliven the space painted in neutral, calm tones.
Classy chess floor and tiles worked perfectly in the bathroom. Transparent glass makes the space feel wider than it really is.
A geometric drawing on the cabinet makes the bathroom look like a tiny galley. Always go for tall, slim mirrors if you want a sensation of infinity at home.
Lots of photos on the wall provide a lovely escape for those who gather in the living room. Memories were stocked in oval, round, baroque or biscuit like frames that expand progressively on a diagonal.
A floor-to-ceiling closet provides space for all the clothes in the apartment. A column on the left was kept for storing books.
A low level media table holds the TV in front of the sofa.
