Romanian-based firm new-idea has designed ‘elderly day care center’, a seniors building that pivots around a central courtyard dig-out. Homes for the elderly have become “house of life”. Those arrived at old age often become a burden to family or overwhelmed by feelings of loneliness and frustration and that’s not because the family no longer wants but just simple as everyday life, the struggle continues for the existence and stress make us less sensitive to the needs and pleasures not lord. Needs of the elderly, are complex physical, psychological, social and hardest spiritual. The needs met are: maintaining energy, maintaining self esteem, eliminate suffering and avoid isolation. These are the reasons why it is beneficial both for the senior center but also for his family. The building has a height D + P + 2E and covers a surface of 2,000 square meters. This center includes dining rooms, kitchens, common rooms and private suites, social spaces, emergency room surveillance cameras in common areas accessible to all families, toilets.
