Although contemporary houses are rarely connected to what is called the ‘rustic charm’, we found a model that blends modern functionality with a rural spirit. The project was realised by German company Huf Haus, founded in 1912 by a talented carpenter. Activating in a wide range of sectors in carpentry business, the company developed the ART product line, a category that presents timber houses designed with high aesthetic standards. As you can easily notice from the pictures below, the building has an expressive appearance that pays attention to the surrounding environment. Inspired by mountain chalets, the house features opaque and transparent areas in a mix that allows the inhabitants to experience the landscape outside most of the time. Keeping to pure themes, the interiors were painted and furnished in white, while a lot of colourful artistic objects make the home bright and lively.
