Sydney-based artist Ben Young creates astonishing glass sculptures that look just like ocean waves. The artist turns the glass sheets into water by hand, drawing, cutting and crafting them from the beginning to the end without the use of any computers. The planning and sketching are the longest and most difficult parts. The designer: “Very excited to be selected as a finalist for the 2014 Ranamok Glass Prize. It is a huge privilege to be exhibiting next to some of the best glass artists from New Zealand and Australia. There have been some beautiful works selected.”
