Every yacht has a defining feature, one that illustrates her true personality in an instant. The French have a good phrase: raison d’etre, or reason for existence. In the case of the new Benetti Classic Supreme 132, I discovered it on the main deck as I wandered. The Classic Supreme 132 is the newest of the Benetti Class yachts, which range from 93 to 145 feet (28 to 44 meters). The Class series is intended as a semi-production motoryacht that draws heavily on the DNA from the Benetti Customs and, I have to admit, she is both classic and supreme.
The interior was designed in collaboration with François Zuretti. The furnishings in the Petrus II are of natural oak and wenge, enriched with handmade leather inserts. One of the unique features in yacht are the diamond shaped panels in ivory colored natural leather in the owner’s and the VIP cabins, that rise from behind the head of the berths and continue up to the ceiling. As always the Benetti’s interiors are completely customizable.
