At entry level, a series of perimeter glass doors can be opened to provide a permeable boundary to access the adjacent enclosed courtyard garden. An outdoor veranda with elevated views of the sculpted lake and trees wraps around a facade formed with a continuous and modular interwoven brise-soleil. Inside this space, there is a multiple-use living room and a small spa. At night, the patterned elevation creates the effect of a glowing jewel box when illuminated by the inner bedroom’s ambient lighting. On the ground floor the living room connects entirely with the garden, where there is a small artificial lake. Fish and plants help maintain the biological balance of the pool without the use of chemical products that assail the environment.
