Madrid-based architect Martín Ferrero loves to dream big. When I first saw the pictures below, I imagined myself dining with gods and goddesses, admiring the beauty of the surroundings in a little heaven on earth! That was exactly what the brain of the project – architect Martín Ferrero – aimed to create with Xálima House, a dwelling dedicated to the senses, located in a distant island. As you can easily notice, the entire residence is a poem by itself: the sea, the mountain and the sky seem involved in the interior habitat. Designed with a multiple layers structure, the house invites its guests to embrace nature on various terraces and gardens or to relax in a wide pool that add movement and dynamism. The maze-like universe resulted from different heights, areas and partitions that mingle together make the atmosphere challenging and mysterious, but, as soon as you find your way out, you are free…to admire the sky and the sea!
