Jorge Hrdina Architects designed the Delany House in Sydney, Australia. The project responds primarily to the individual needs and wishes of their clients. Jorge Hrdina Architects designed a house that fits perfectly into the environment. Surrounded by eucalypts on Sydney’s Middle Harbour, bedrooms are above and below, private to the main living platform. Open spaces and large windows provide a maximum of contact with this natural environment. It engages the participant in views across and up the river. Below these levels a meandering stair finds a smaller platform, directly engaging the ground and a pool, completing the architectural reading of the site.
