Some of the contemporary residences are so perfect in execution that they lack emotion. But, architect William Hefner knows how to bring it back.
Located on the hills of the LA city, Trousdale Residence is what we call ‘sweet modern’. Large, open areas create an airy atmosphere, natural light make the interiors resonate with the landscape, while large paintings and original pieces of furniture add personality to the dwelling. The place is inviting thanks to the white oak paneling, the comfy leather sofas and the colorful walls. The materials were kept on natural, calm tones in order to offer tranquility to the inhabitants, while several hot spot like colorful lamps in the bedroom or red leather chairs at the bar add dynamism. Moreover, the pool and the terrace offer space for dinners and parties to remember! In a nutshell, Trousdale Residence makes the guests feel comfortable, yet delighted and captivated by the landscape outside or the art inside.
