Natural Living is a private residence designed by Happy Studio. It is located in Beitou District, Taipei, Taiwan and has a warm and sophisticated interior. The apartment is located in Beitou District, Taipei, Taiwan. Due to the privilege of huge French windows and terraces, the apartment is brightly lit with natural light and with a superb view towards Guandu Nature Park. Therefore, the exterior landscape becomes one of the critical issues among design strategies. By making curved flower beds with different heights, it provides a great platform to grow various plants for different season where short bushes and tall trees are interweaved. Thus the landscape demonstrates the seasonal changes and provides a natural atmosphere even though existing within an urban building. The interior design extends the concept of nature conceived for the exterior by choosing nature materials and colors which echoes the outdoor aura. Thus the TV wall and bar are decorated with natural stone and wood. The parents’ bedroom floor is covered with tatami.
