Designed by Steve Moe Design and sited at the base of Squak Mountain (WA), this three star Built Green™ home is an outstanding example of Northwest Modern Design, using environmentally sound building practices to produce a structure of beauty and integrity. The home was designed and constructed in 2007 and is currently awaiting Built Green certification from the Master Builder’s Association. To obtain this status the home was built to the program’s standards and includes such eco-friendly components as fir trim that was logged from the site, salvaged wood counters in the kitchen and bathroom counters made of concrete and recycled wine bottles.
