This modern residence was completed in 2012 by Shieh Arquitetos Associados. Located in Sao Paulo, Brazil, the house is a direct result of the site’s complicated geometry. It owes its unusual shape to the complex configuration and setback requirements of the site. Thus the nickname Offset House: a house that is the reflection of the sides of the lot. In plan, the lines are given by the highest possible occupation of the property, discounting setbacks (restrained either by municipal legislation, or by the neighborhood regulation).
