JKC1 House was recently completed by Singapore-based architectural firm ONG&ONG . This good-class bungalow is located in Singapore’s Bukit Timah district. Trying to balance the mountain and water elements, according to feng shui belief, the residence was built on a slope in a green setting, in connection to a welcoming pool. Here is more from the architects regarding the structure of the residence: “The first floor’s living and dining area is a vast and continuous space providing an unobstructed view of the pool and front lawn. The generously proportioned kitchen with laundry area is located to the back of the house together with the garage. A centralized, combination staircase leads up into the open courtyard directly above the kitchen.
