What is the first thing that crosses your mind when you hear the word ‘wellness‘? Utmost comfort for the inhabitants means pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, garden, fireplace…or a combination of them all? Spotted on homedsgn.com, Wellness Citygarden is a residential project built by Alblasserdam-based Centric Design Group in the Netherlands. Focused on the idea of creating a small paradise in the city, the architect chose large open areas that communicate very well with the exterior. Even if the garden is not very generous, the nature is present as much as possible: pots with plants, vertical green walls, trees and bushes create a calm, relaxing place for the owners. The materials used for decoration rely on a similar concept of natural aesthetic: wood and stone decorations work perfectly with luxurious elements of design. The pool, one of the elements that bring dynamism in the garden represents an oasis of relaxation. Beware of curious eyes, it welcomes the visitors in two symmetric ponds flanked by stone walls. After swimming, a Jacuzzi nearby offers moments of wonderful delight!
