Argentinian firm Estudio Martin Gomez Arquitectos designed the property in 2009, placing a huge amount of emphasis on outdoor living and entertaining areas, and striking contemporary style. They chose a wide glass facade to allow complete appreciation of the spectacular nature panorama. Paying attention to the aesthetic principles, wood paneled sections flank the glass facade, being complemented by extensive decking areas and timber stepping stones over the landscape. The gallerias that surround these concrete blocks end up creating the idea of outdoor living rooms that determine a fluid transition between the interior and the exterior with a fantastic panoramic view. The materials used are concrete, wood, iron and glass. This interesting home, with incredible sea views from the front of the building and woodland views over the pool, is located in Punta del Este, Uruguay.

A living and dining area with the best views to the sea and its swimming pool

According to Martin Gomez Arquitectos the single storey beach house can be found on a unique plot, due to its size, location and views. The owners dreamt of owning a peaceful summer house where they could relax and unwind.

Completed in 2009, this 6,450 square foot, single level, contemporary beach house is located in La Boyita, Punta del Este, Uruguay.

The living room is cozy and inviting. Notice the amount of pillows on the sofas that make your seating very comfortable.

The living room is very tall, illuminated by natural light all day long.

The bedroom was designed in different tones of light and dark brown, creating an interesting contrast with beige curtains and white sheets.

The contemporary home consists of five areas which contain a main block with a living and dining area with the fantastic views to the sea and overlooking the swimming pool. The other quarters contain a service area and guest rooms. The separate independent areas were important to make the owners guests feel like they were staying at a private hotel.
