Singaporean architectural firm, Nota Design International, have designed the facade and interior of the Qing Shui Wan Spa Hotel in Shenyang, China. The designers’ intention was to create a deliberate strong display of cultural dominance. Qing Shui Wan is a high-end hot spring and spa club with hotel rooms located in downtown Shenyang.
This luxury spa club offers natural hot springs, Turkish baths, tea appreciation rooms, many massage and treatment rooms, a hair salon, a cinema lounge and restaurants in addition to their 24 hotel rooms. According to the architects, this house is a half a century old single storey terrace with an attic and is located in a huge residential zone with a plot ratio of 1.4. The potential of it being en-bloc in a few years’ time is there, but by no means certain. All this can be found on three stories, each covering an area of 7000 square meters each.
