$4.5 million for an island paradise like this?
Designed by architect Marcio Kogan, the house was inspired by a desire to relax in nature – complete with infinity pool. You can find it on a quarter acre “clearing in a tropical forest,” which is all I need to hear before I move in. Hidden in the clearing of a tropical forest, the garden of this stunning locale has space devoted to contemplation. Located in gorgeous Ilhabela, Portuguese for “beautiful island,” and inspired by a desire to relax and meditate in nature, the owners worked with a famous Brazilian architecture studio to create this masterpiece to allow a closeness with the environment. This incredible setting boasts a dazzling space around the pool with palm trees and a view to the ocean that is absolutely breathtaking. The top floor of the house is enclosed by stunning bamboo panels that open to a view of the ocean, hovering over the living area and terrace below.
