An old house dated 1981 from Texas was rehabilitated by architectural design studio Mell Lawrence Architects and it now looks like a contemporary, cozy home. We discovered the project on Freshome and thought it would very interesting to show you more details. The architect wanted to gain space for the owners and took the decision to demolish some of the important walls of the building. The result? An open floor plan and an office space appear instead. Meanwhile, the architect had in mind to connect the interior with the exterior and installed larger aluminum windows. Spreading over 2,700 square meters, the house displayed a huge space potential that made room to install a light-filled kitchen connected to the dining and living spaces.
