Villas Tarabini are placed in Playa del Carmen, Mexico and the project was designed by Sanzpont Arquitectura. The architects had to integrate the house to the site respecting the existing trees to maximize the natural shade they provide and be more environmentally conscious. The biggest challenge of this project was to find the perfect site where to place the houses. The general form was developed dodging trees and integrating the design within an overall concept. Four villas have been integrated in a natural and continuous space, where outdoor blends indoor spaces to achieve an atmosphere of relaxation and rest. The timber was also structured to maximize natural ventilation and natural lighting. And finally, the interior spaces have been integrated with the surroundings through large outdoor terraces overlooking the golf course; exterior furnishings create an environment of relaxation and Caribbean peace.
