Yachtsmen House won several architecture competitions in Moscow and represents a ‘sample’ of good taste, accessible solutions and clean design.  The street facade faces a glass wall, protected by a grid of strips. This not only creates an interesting effect of  multi-layer surface, but also helps to protect the living space of the abundance of sunlight. This small wooden house is rather a cottage than a permanent country residence, but it is worth mentioning it. Yachtsmen House was also associated with a skillfully cut diamond due to its glazing.

Its architect, Vladimir Plotkin is member at the Union of Russian Architects, professor at the International Academy of Architecture and a board member of the Union of Moscow Architects. Was born in 1955 in S’t Petersburg. From1995 up till now leads the architectural company TPO Reserve, Moscow.
