Harsh environment, beautiful landscape, comfortable conditions…these are the ingredients that make this house a place to desire. What impressed me most is its fortress like look obtained with wood columns on the upper terrace that support large overhangs and add an unique character to the upper floor pavilion. Architect David Tyrell has completed this house near Kelowna, BC, Canada.
