It’s a child’s dream as much as an architect’s dream.
This house gives the idea of ‘design for children’ a whole new meaning : it’s a 3-storey family residence with slides between all levels that will keep even the most active kid busy.
Designed by Japanese architects Kazuki Nakamura and Kenichi Izuhara, this house has slides between the floors on one side and normal stairs on the other side and is actually inhabited by a family. As seen in the pictures, it doesn’t have too many windows because it is lit using vertical openings in the roof, and a centrally placed courtyard with sliding glass doors illuminates the living room with natural daylight to encourage the natural sunlight to light up the house.
