Renovating a house may sometimes transform the old dwelling into a totally distinct layout as showed in its new planning, organization and design. Spotted on houzz.com, the project below illustrates a process of drastic restoring so that the old look remained a dusty memory. The residence situated in Ontario, Canada was reorganized, making the ground-floor layout to include bedrooms for the three children, a bathroom, an open-plan kitchen, the dining and living space, and a small TV nook. The second floor contains spaces intended just for the couple. Smaller in size, this level is also an open plan and contains an office, a sitting area, a semiprivate bedroom, a main en suite and a south-facing patio. In a nutshell, they developed a clear vision for the home: something open, simple and linear, with a lot of natural light and colors.
