Orizon House, located in Playa Grande, Costa Rica, was designed by Andres Serpa. The home is spacious, open, and modern, with large terraces and outside spaces to enjoy the warmth of Central America. This house was conceived to enjoy outdoors and natural environment. This sustainable home was built by following traditional construction methods from the surroundings, utilizing local construction materials and by realizing the huge need to preserve the nature around. The combination between concrete and wood really maximized sophistication and simplicity in a single space.
According to the architects: Orizon is a village of 8 houses located in Playa Grande of 1.500m rom the Leatherback National Park in with a total of 2.640 m2 of construction on a lot of 7.115 m2 leaving 70% green area. The design of the model home was designed to enjoy the outdoors and mountain environment. They design a central one as living, dining, entertainment, swimming pool which is the heart and hub between different environments. Orizon is designed as a beach house and almost 50% target to areas covered terraces that allow relaxation and enjoyment Spa leaving a sense of where you live.
