Ecuadorian studio Najas Arquitectos has designed the Hacia el Rio House, a 7,000 square foot contemporary home located in Quito, Ecuador. Discovered on Homedsgn, the two-story residence comprises living spaces on the ground floor, oriented towards the garden and private rooms on the first floor. The massive dwelling consists of a mostly white covered facade contrasted with areas of dark wood and grey support beams that finish off the exterior nicely. Floor to ceiling windows along with several balconies and patios provide stunning views of the rolling, lush green landscape surrounding the property. I really love these huge floor-to-ceiling glass walls that invite the outdoors inside.
