Situated on Catskill Mountains in the southeastern portion of New York, the building represents a private library providing a study area for a scholar of Japanese. Realized by Peter L. Gluck and Partners, the building contains a study area above and a library below. It is a cube that measures approximately twenty feet in dimension, with books preserved in a windowless space on the first floor.
The landscape around the library makes you free your mind and concentrate on studying.
The library has one rigid volume that represents the main structure and an upper level flooded by natural light.
