It’s not necessary to fill a public space with statues and small fountains to catch students’ attention. This “roller coaster” was built for one of the best vocational schools in Beijing, and aims to redefine the use of an existing public space on the central square of the campus.
The structure provides what students needed most: a humanistic and functional gathering space that can also host some special events/ school activities.
