Chorus is a residential project completed by Ganna Design in 2014. The stylish apartment in Taipei City, Taiwan is described as a familiar space, full of memories, yet with a happy new look. Once you enter, you are greeted by a ceiling height of three meters, setting the tone for a spacious tiny home. This thirty-year old house with mezzanine was the place where one of the inhabitants enjoyed beautiful years of childhood, so it was important to preserve these memories, but conduct a functional process of upgrading as well. The color palette is minimalist and helps create the feeling of a sizable home. White walls and furniture enlarge the rooms, while adding a glimpse of elegance.
With state-of-the-art appliances, a stylish mix of gray and white tones and dimmable spotlights for good work lighting, it offers a perfect area for experimenting. Lotus color is the main color is the master’s bedroom and pink is the main color in the kids bedroom. The color adoption clear presents the characteristics of different users.
A long dining table surrounded by colorful chairs divides the kitchen from the relaxation area. According to the description provided by the project developers, “the main wall in the dining room is cement finish plus dyed veneer and painted glass, creating a multi-layer color change. The room is large enough to accommodate the sofa, bed, televisions, furniture and storage furniture. The upper level is used as private areas, the master bedroom and the kids room.” We are taken aback by the energy of this residence, cleverly generated with the help of an abundance of colors and textures.
