Resignation Media recently completed an impressive 14,000 square-foot office building in Austin, Texas. The Jovial Office Building was renovated over a period of 18 months to provide community lounges, bars and beer chutes along the work spaces as well as the needed meeting areas, executive offices and a two floor adult slide for a more entertaining way of getting to the bottom floor of the office.
The interior and space design is a result of the collaborative work between Jamie Chioco and Vanessa Francis at Chioco Design and Leo Resig, CEO at Resignation Media. Marrying the jovial brand with a practical environment, the space is headquarters to comical entertainment site, theCHIVE, a burgeoning beer line, Resignation Brewery and a non-profit philanthropic effort, Chive Charities, among others. The $4M renovation took 18 months to complete and now hosts 72 employees, meeting spaces, executive offices and a custom, two-story adult slide that quickly transports riders to the office’s bottom floor.
