What I love at contemporary houses is that they dare to surprise at every corner. Materials can be used in various combinations, and finishings are of the utmost beauty. Spaces seem borrowed from a boundless planet, and colours blend in smooth, delicate fusions. When designed by professionals, contemporary residences look like art galleries or fastidious saloons, reflecting a sense of royalty and discipline. An example as such is presented below, in a collection that gathers photos of an amazing project realised in 2014 by SL*project from Russia. Located in Agalarov Estate, an upscale golf community near Moscow, the residence stands out in relief as most of the villas around feature a classic architectural aesthetic. Therefore, this building fascinates at the very first sight. Its exterior resembles to a flying saucer with curved lines and boxy volumes. Despite its massive look, large panes of transparent glass make the house feel fragile and graceful. Explore the gallery and let us know if you enjoyed the project!
The sanctuary of the house: an interior pool and a relaxing lounge area nearby.
A feminine bedroom for a little princess who sees life with a light heart.
My favourite spot in the house: a magnificent living room with an extremely high ceiling and an entire wall made of transparent glass.
A bar and a billiard table
The kitchen communicates with the living room through transparent sliding doors.
The pots with plants in the corner look like a contemporary sculpture and represent the focal point of the dining area.
