Villa in Crimea is a private residence designed by SL Project. It is located in Gurzuf, Crimea, currently disputed between Ukraine and Russia. The U-shaped plan of the residence was determined by the area with complex terrain and lots of trees including a huge centuries-old oak tree, which is now in the center of the composition. The project maintained a single style and continuity of materials, created the most simple situation, because the opening of the huge panorama windows and the other is not required. Significant slope terrain and the desire to preserve the old oak is difficult to define the architecture of the building. This is not a home-cube, clear and intuitive, with each side of it a new look. Building has a terrace, and all levels are linked both outside and inside. The walls and ceiling in a house made in white, tiled oak planks, and the furniture chosen concise forms of good Italian brands – nothing more. Bright color is present only in the pictures. At the top is designed garage, down from which you get on the roof, covered white marble pebbles where arranged terrace for relaxation and yoga. Then follows the first residential level, represented by the living room, fireplace, guest room, kitchen and master bedroom. Beauty environment – the house stands on a hill at the bottom of the sea and the vineyards stretch – balances the austerity.
