Scarabeo Camp lets its guest fully experience the serenity and magic of camping in the desert. Scarabeo Camp was born of a shared passion. Florence and Vincent both come from several generations of globe-trotting families. They have been seduced by the splendor and diversity of landscapes and warm hospitality of the people of Morocco. Vincent, a photographer and Florence, a graphic designer have combined their talents to select magnificent sites and decorate the tents in a colour scheme inspired by local traditions. They look forward to welcoming travelers seeking a first taste of Morocco’s hidden treasures. This is a back-to-basics camping, the luxurious way. Set against an elegant and simple backdrop, the natural materials, African woven matting and Berber rugs, interesting pieces brought back from travels abroad and atmospheric Moroccan lanterns, give the impression of being on an expedition from another time.
The ingredients combine to form a unique alchemy, a place to completely unwind and disconnect from everyday life. The camp has the added attraction of being very accessible, as it is located less than an hour’s drive from Marrakesh.
