Designed by Wyant Architecture , this 18th century farmhouse is located in Elverson, a borough in Chester County, Pennsylvania, USA. The architects designed a contemporary addition to an existing house. The new residence meets these objectives by remodeling the existing structures and transforming them into home offices and bedrooms for children. The addition itself accommodates a generous family room and master suite, while acting as a “bridge”, directing the inhabitants towards the new outdoor patio. Modern style can be seen on large glass windows and glass doors. Abounding in natural light and displaying a variety of materials, each room of the house inspires an overall cozy feel. I assume that it is a great combination that makes this house seems so natural and traditional.
