Despite its modern look, Scandinavian style has always a strong link with tradition. You can easily notice this aspect when you find old pieces of furniture brought into contemporaneity or vintage decorative objects exhibited in a newly refurbished flat. The one we present you today mixes old and new with style, paying attention to functionality and space composition. Located in Gustavsberg (Sweden), the apartment was realized by Mood House, an interior design company which started operations in 2005. The color scheme features grey, white, and light blue with several yellow and red splashes. Large windows and open areas make the interior look airy and uncluttered, while several accessories try to recover the memory of the place. In the kitchen, six decorative plates were hung on the wall so that anyone who comes in would remember the porcelain factory in the city. In addition, a lot of playful elements such as flags, papers skies and balloons, drawings and posters make the space original and lively.
