Who does not enjoy playing? With concepts, volumes, materials and colors. The team from LRS Architectes studio know that creativity is what clients appreciate most and tried to offer a state of being original everywhere in the house. The first thing you notice when looking at the pictures below is that they played with the perceptions and the variety of scales. The site required strict zoning regulations, so the solution for a ‘different house’ was to divert the language of the typical chalet into playful and contemporary architecture. The relationship between the inhabitant and the distant landscape (the lake and the Alps) and the nearby context (the garden, terrace and the porch) became the central theme of the project. The living spaces evolve underneath the roof, facing the magnificent landscape of the Alps and Lake Geneva. The middle floor, with the master and child bedrooms, includes a terrace.
